Bulldog to Host Emergency Vehicle Service Course with Hale and Class1

Hale and Class1 Logos

Here at Bulldog Fire & Emergency Apparatus, we’re always looking for ways to better connect with our customers and assist them with all of their emergency vehicle needs. April 3rd and 4th, we will be partnering with Hale and Class1 to provide our customers a unique education opportunity. The event will be held off-site at a Boston training facility, where departments large and small can network with one another while learning important maintenance and diagnostic tips.

The two day course will be held from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day, free of charge to Bulldog customers. Instructors from Hale and Class1 will be there to educate participants on pumps and the Es-Key multiplexing system. The event will help prepare participants for EVT certification, but attendees will include more than just service technicians and fleet managers.  By involving other members of the department, such as chiefs and the first responders themselves, Bulldog hopes to educate course participants on the proper way to diagnose issues and accurately convey them to those working on the vehicle. This should help reduce downtime significantly, as less time will be spent searching for the correct problem arising from a communication issue, and more time rectifying it.

Bulldog Fire & Emergency Apparatus General Manager, Stephen Mirabile, has the following to say about hosting the course:

Relationships are paramount at Bulldog. We want our customers to trust us and see us as an industry leader, offering the latest products and providing first-class service when needed. Part of this trust is built through our customer outreach programs. If we can arm them with the knowledge they need to feel comfortable and in control, it makes our job easier. We want the departments we work with to view us as an expert, and know they can lean on us when they need to. Classes like this are important in giving them the tools they need to succeed. Properly diagnosing a problem is just as critical as fixing it when every minute a unit is down counts. We are excited to see how the course is received by our customers, and we are already looking forward to hosting similar sessions in the future.
